Overview

The Dada DAM3-250 molded case circuit breaker is engineered to handle a rated current of up to 250A. Ideal for power distribution circuits operating at 50-60Hz, it supports a rated operating current up to 1000A. Versatile and robust, it also serves in electric motors for occasional starts, providing excellent overload protection, as well as defense against short circuits and undervoltage conditions.

The DAM3 series, an evolution from the DAM1 series, boasts a more compact design and significantly higher breaking capacity, offering superior energy efficiency and performance.

Introduction
The DAM3-250 molded case circuit breaker is designed to automatically interrupt the current when it exceeds the preset release setting. Its molded case, made from plastic insulator, serves as the device's frame, effectively insulating the conductor from the metal grounding components.

Working principle
The primary contact of the DAM3-250 molded case circuit breaker can be actuated manually or electrically. Once engaged, the free release mechanism secures the main contact in the closed position. The overcurrent trip coil and thermal trip element are configured in series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel with the power supply.
