The term 'molded case' refers to the robust plastic insulator that forms the device's frame, effectively insulating the conductor and the metal grounding component.

Working principle
The DAM3-250 molded case circuit breaker features a main contact that can be manually manipulated or electrically closed. Once the main contact is secured, the free release mechanism locks it in the closed position. The overcurrent trip coil and thermal trip element are serially connected with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is arranged in parallel with the power supply, ensuring comprehensive protection and reliability.
