Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breakers: The epitome of reliable protection.

Thermal protection function: Providing impeccable defense against overload conditions.
Our thermal protection mechanism is powered by bimetal technology, ingeniously crafted from two metals with varying thermal expansion coefficients. When heated, the bimetallic strip bends towards the metal with a lower expansion rate, triggering a release mechanism that opens the breaker, effectively halting excessive current flow. The bending speed correlates directly with the current size, thus expertly managing overcurrent protection by responding to currents surpassing the rated threshold.
(For protection under short circuit conditions) Another crucial function of the breaker is to safeguard the connected circuit from devastating short circuits. Such occurrences may result from phase-to-phase contacts or phase-to-ground connections. In these scenarios, the surge of high current through the cables necessitates an immediate cessation of system energy to ensure safety. Therefore, the breaker must execute a prompt opening, effectively protecting the load it is connected to. This function is carried out by a sophisticated mechanical opening mechanism, which is activated by the magnetization occurring in the magnetic field created by the short circuit current, providing rapid and reliable protection.
