Overview
The distinguished Dada DAM3-250 molded case circuit breaker is engineered to handle a rated current soaring up to an impressive 250A. These robust electrical devices are perfectly suited for power distribution circuits operating with an alternating current of 50-60Hz, effectively managing a rated operating current as high as 1000A. With versatility at its core, this circuit breaker is also adept for use with electric motors, facilitating infrequent starting alongside comprehensive overload protection. Additionally, it provides exceptional safeguarding against short circuiting and undervoltage conditions, ensuring your electrical systems are consistently shielded.
The innovative DAM3 series stands out when compared to the DAM1 series, as it is meticulously crafted for a more compact design, significantly enhanced breaking capacity, and ultimately superior energy efficiency. This makes it an ideal choice for modern electrical infrastructure needs.

Introduction
The state-of-the-art DAM3-250 molded case circuit breaker is designed to automatically interrupt the current flow once it surpasses the predetermined release setting. The term 'molded case' highlights the sophisticated plastic insulator that serves as the backbone of the device, ensuring effective insulation of the conductor and the metal grounding component, thus enhancing safety and reliability.
Working principle
The operational principle of the DAM3-250 molded case circuit breaker involves either manual manipulation or electric closing of the main contact. Upon closure, the highly reliable free release mechanism secures the main contact in the closed position. The overcurrent trip coil and the thermal trip element, both integral to the main circuit, work in series. In contrast, the undervoltage trip coil is strategically connected in parallel with the power supply, ensuring meticulous protection and uninterrupted performance.
