The term 'molded case' refers to the durable plastic insulator that forms the frame of the device, effectively isolating the conductor from the metal grounding components, ensuring optimal safety and reliability.

Working Principle
The primary contact of the DAM3-1600 Molded Case Circuit Breaker can be operated either manually or electrically. Once the primary contact is closed, the free release mechanism securely locks it in place. The overcurrent trip coil and thermal trip element are connected in series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel with the power supply, ensuring comprehensive protection and operational efficiency.
