Working principle
Operating with precision, the DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker features a main contact that can be controlled either manually or through electric closing. Once secured in the closed position by the free release mechanism, it stands ready to protect. The overcurrent trip coil and thermal trip element, linked in series with the main circuit, quickly respond to excess current, while the undervoltage trip coil, connected in parallel with the power supply, ensures steadfast protection against voltage drops.
