The DAM1 series circuit breakers are masterfully crafted to ensure the seamless flow of electricity in everyday operations. These circuit breakers are meticulously aligned with the stringent demands of EN 60947-1 and EN 60947-2 standards.


Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breakers:

Thermal Protection Function: Expertly designed for safeguarding against overload conditions, ensuring uninterrupted operation.
The thermal protection prowess is powered by a bimetallic component-a harmonious blend of two metals with distinct heat expansion characteristics. As the bimetal warms, it elegantly arches toward the metal with a lower expansion rate. This precision movement triggers a notch, gracefully unlocking the breaker mechanism to deactivate the circuit. The bimetal's deflection rate is finely tuned to the current magnitude, as increased current equates to heightened heat levels. Thus, the bimetal deftly executes its role, shielding against currents that surpass the nominal rating, delivering optimal overload protection.
Magnetic Protection Function: A pivotal safeguard against short circuit phenomena, ensuring unwavering circuit protection. The breaker stands as a sentinel against short circuits, which may arise from phase-to-phase or phase-to-ground contact. During such events, torrents of excessive current surge through the cables, necessitating rapid system energy disconnection. This is achieved through swift thermal protection mechanisms. The breaker is engineered for instantaneous disengagement, safeguarding connected loads with utmost precision. This critical function is executed by a sophisticated mechanical opening system that responds to the magnetic flux induced by the short circuit current, ensuring unparalleled protection.
