Introduction
Designed for automatic current interruption, the DAM3-1600 Molded Case Circuit Breaker ensures safety by cutting off excess current when it surpasses preset thresholds. Its robust molded case, composed of high-grade plastic insulators, acts as a frame, effectively insulating conductors and securing grounding components, providing both safety and durability.
Working Principle
The DAM3-1600 Molded Case Circuit Breaker operates through manual or electric closure of its main contact. Once engaged, the sophisticated free release mechanism secures the main contact in a closed position. Integrated overcurrent trip coils and thermal trip elements form a series with the main circuit, while undervoltage trip coils are arranged in parallel with the power supply, ensuring comprehensive protection and optimal performance.
