Product Description

ODM 100A Low Voltage Breakers Cm1 Moulded Case Circuit Breaker MCCB

The DAM2 series Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) is the latest innovation from Shanghai DaDa Electric Co., Ltd., crafted with cutting-edge international technology. These breakers feature a compact size, exceptional breaking capacity, minimal arc-over distance, and robust shakeproof construction. This makes them the ideal choice for applications both on land and at sea.

Application

The DAM2 (CM1) series MCCB boasts a rated insulation voltage of 800V. It is designed for AC distribution networks of 50Hz / 60Hz, with a rated working voltage of 690V and a rated current of up to 1250A. This breaker excels in power distribution and protecting circuits and equipment from damage caused by overload, short-circuit, under-voltage, and other electrical faults. Additionally, it supports infrequent circuit conversions, motor startups, and isolation. The DAM2 MCCB can be installed both vertically and horizontally, adhering to the IEC60947-2 standard for low-voltage switchgear and control equipment, Part 2: circuit breakers.

If requirements are unmet, refer to the recommended shunt release control circuit diagram.

1.2 Under-Voltage Release

Operation Range: When power supply voltage drops to 70%-35% of rated voltage, the under-voltage release ensures circuit breaker disconnects reliably.
Below 35% Voltage: The under-voltage release prevents the circuit breaker from closing.
Above 85% Voltage: The under-voltage release ensures the circuit breaker closes effectively. Rated at AC50Hz, 230V, 400V.

Special Note: Circuit breakers with undervoltage release can only operate normally within the rated voltage range.

1.3 Pre-Paid Meter Dedicated Release

The rated operating voltage (Ue) of our pre-paid meter dedicated release is AC230/50Hz, seamlessly operating within a range of 65% to 110% Ue. In the event of Ctrl being cut off, the circuit breaker will delay opening for a period ranging from 0.5s to 2s.

Example: DAM2L-100 / 33102 63A signifies a DAM2-type molded case circuit breaker with a frame rated current of 100A, standard breaking capacity, handle operation, 3 poles, double release, with shunt release, designed for motor protection with a rated current of 63A.
Selection, installation, and usage must strictly adhere to the product manual or relevant national standards for optimal performance.
Note: The N-pole type of 4P circuit breaker is categorized into A-type and B-type, with B-type being the default unless specified otherwise.

In-Depth Working Principle
The main contact of the molded case circuit breaker is either manually operated or electrically closed. Upon closing, the free release mechanism securely locks the main contact in the closed position. The over
current trip coil and the thermal trip element are intricately connected in series with the main circuit. The under
voltage
release
coil and the power supply are expertly connected in parallel.
