Overview
The Dada DAM3-1600 MCCB (Molded Case Circuit Breaker) boasts a remarkable rated current of up to 1600A, making it an ideal choice for safeguarding power distribution circuits that operate with an alternating current of 50-60Hz and a rated operating current of up to 1000A. These versatile devices are also perfect for electric motor applications, providing reliable infrequent starting, overload protection, as well as safeguarding against short-circuiting and undervoltage conditions.
Compared to the DAM1 series, the advanced DAM3 series is engineered for a more compact size, higher breaking capacity, and superior energy efficiency, delivering exceptional performance and energy savings in a smaller footprint.

Introduction
The DAM3-1600 MCCB is designed to automatically interrupt the current flow when it surpasses the release setting, ensuring maximum safety. The term 'molded case' refers to the durable plastic insulator that forms the device's frame, effectively insulating the conductor and the metal grounding component.
Working Principle
The main contact of the DAM3-1600 MCCB can be operated manually or electrically. Once closed, the free release mechanism secures the main contact in the closed position. The overcurrent trip coil and thermal trip element are connected in series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel with the power supply, ensuring comprehensive protection.
