Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breakers:

Thermal Protection Function: (Designed for overload protection)
The thermal protection mechanism is powered by a bimetallic strip crafted from two metals with distinct thermal expansion coefficients. As the current-induced heat rises, the bimetallic strip bends towards the metal with the lower expansion rate, triggering a notch that activates the breaker mechanism. This precise bending action, which correlates directly with the current magnitude, ensures that the breaker effectively interrupts the circuit under overload conditions, thereby safeguarding your electrical system.
Magnetic Protection Function:(For safeguarding against short circuit conditions) Another vital feature of the breaker is its ability toshield the connected circuit from shortcircuits. Short circuits may occur due tophase-to-phase contact orphase-to-ground contact.
