Introduction

The term 'molded case' refers to the robust plastic insulator framing the device, ensuring the conductor and metal grounding components remain effectively insulated.
Working Principle
The operation of the DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker is initiated either manually or electrically to close the main contact. Once closed, the free release mechanism securely locks the main contact in position. The overcurrent trip coil and the thermal trip element are integrated in series within the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel to the power supply, ensuring optimal performance.
