Dam2 Moulded Case Breaker 250A Low Voltage Circuit MCCB

Introducing the DAM2 series Moulded Case Circuit Breaker, an epitome of innovation, meticulously designed using state-of-the-art international technology. These trailblazing breakers feature an impressively compact structure, superior breaking capacity, minimal arc-over distance, and a resilient shake-proof design. This makes them the ideal solution for diverse applications across both land and maritime environments.

Application

The DAM2 (CM1) series circuit breaker is a powerhouse, boasting a rated insulation voltage of 800V. It's expertly crafted for AC distribution networks at 50Hz/60Hz, with a rated working voltage reaching up to 690V and a rated current up to 1250A. Perfect for power distribution and circuit protection, it safeguards equipment from overloads, short-circuits, under-voltage, and more. It accommodates infrequent circuit conversions and motor starts, delivering unmatched adaptability. Install it vertically or horizontally-it's versatile enough for both. Recognized for isolation by the symbol " ", the DAM2 MCCB aligns with IEC60947-2 standards for low-voltage switchgear and control equipment, reaffirming its excellence in circuit breakers.

Normal operating conditions

1. Ambient air temperature: Maintain between -5ºC to +40ºC, ensuring that the daily average does not surpass +35ºC.
2. Altitude: Ensure installation site altitude remains within 2000 meters to optimize performance.
3. Atmospheric conditions: At +40ºC, relative humidity shouldn't exceed 50%, yet higher humidity is acceptable at reduced temperatures. The maximum average relative humidity is 90%, with a minimum average monthly temperature of +25ºC, accounting for possible condensation due to temperature fluctuations.
4. Pollution Degree: 3.

Example: DAM2L-100 / 33102 63A denotes a DAM2-type molded case circuit breaker. This model boasts a frame rated current of 100A, standard breaking capacity, handle operation, 3 poles, double release, with shunt release, optimized for motor protection with a rated current of 63A.
Selection, installation, and use must strictly adhere to the product manual or relevant national standards to guarantee unparalleled performance.
Note: The N-pole type of a 4P circuit breaker is classified into A-type and B-type. In instances where specification is absent, the default designation is B-type.

Working Principle
The main contact of the molded case circuit breaker can be secured either manually or electrically. Upon closure, the free release mechanism ingeniously locks the main contact in a steadfast closed position. The over
current trip coil and the thermal trip element are strategically aligned in series with the main circuit, whereas the under
voltage
release
coil and the power supply are harmoniously configured in parallel.
