Working principle
The main contact of the DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker can be engaged manually or electrically. Once the main contact is secured, the free release mechanism ensures it remains in the closed position. The overcurrent trip coil and the thermal trip element are wired in series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel with the power supply.
