The rated current of the DaDa DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker can reach a robust 1600A. These indispensable electrical devices are expertly engineered to safeguard power distribution circuits operating at an alternating current of 50-60Hz and a rated operating current up to 1000A. Introduction
The DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker is designed to automatically interrupt the current flow when it exceeds the preset release settings. The term 'molded case' refers to the durable plastic insulator that forms the frame of the device, providing essential insulation for the conductor and the metal grounding component.
Working Principle
The main contact of the DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker can be manually operated or electrically closed. Once the main contact is closed, the free release mechanism securely locks it in the closed position. The overcurrent trip coil and the thermal trip element are ingeniously connected in series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil and the power supply are connected in parallel.
