Working principle
The operational mechanism of the DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker involves manual or electric manipulation of the main contact for closing. Once the main contact is closed, the free release mechanism secures it in the closed position. The overcurrent trip coil and the thermal trip element are serially connected with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel with the power supply, ensuring comprehensive protection.
