Introduction

The term 'molded case' refers to the robust plastic insulation frame that encloses the device, ensuring effective isolation of conductive parts and the metal grounding components.

Working principle
The main contact of the DAM3-250 molded case circuit breaker can be engaged either manually or electrically. Once closed, the free release mechanism securely locks the main contact in place. The overcurrent trip coil and thermal trip element are integrated in series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel with the power supply, ensuring comprehensive protection and reliability.
