Overview
The Dada DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker is engineered to handle a formidable rated current of up to 1600A. Crafted for the safeguarding of power distribution circuits operating with an alternating current of 50-60Hz, it reliably functions at a rated operating current of up to 1000A. This versatile device is also adept at managing electric motors, providing not only infrequent starting capabilities but also robust protection against overloads, short circuits, and undervoltage incidents.
In comparison to the DAM1 series, the innovative DAM3 series is a marvel of engineering with its compact footprint, superior breaking capacity, and enhanced energy efficiency, making it a leading choice for modern applications.

Introduction
The DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker is designed to take action with precision, automatically severing the current flow upon surpassing the release settings. Its molded case, constructed from durable plastic insulators, serves as a resilient framework that effectively insulates the conductor while securing the metal grounding components.
Working principle
The operation of the DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker is a blend of manual dexterity or electrical automation, closing the main contact with ease. Once closed, the free release mechanism steadfastly secures the main contact in a closed position. An overcurrent trip coil, paired with a thermal trip element, forms a series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil works in harmony, connected parallelly with the power supply to ensure seamless protection.
