These circuit breakers are vital for safeguarding electrical units where operational voltage is capped at 400V, accommodating rated currents ranging from a modest 12.5A to a robust 1600A, ensuring optimal performance across a spectrum of applications.

These circuit breakers are meticulously designed to meet and exceed the rigorous standards set by EN 60947-1 and EN 60947-2.


Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breakers:

Thermal Protection Function: (Providing unparalleled protection under overload conditions)
At the heart of our thermal protection mechanism lies a sophisticated bimetal system, an ingenious blend of two distinct metals with unique expansion rates under heat. As the bimetal is subjected to increased temperature, it elegantly bends towards the metal with a lesser expansion rate. This bending action plays a crucial role in activating the breaker mechanism, effectively disabling the circuit breaker. The bimetal's bending velocity correlates directly with the magnitude of the current traversing the breaker, as higher current induces greater heat. This ingenious design ensures that the bimetal deftly provides overcurrent protection for load currents exceeding the rated threshold, guaranteeing safety and reliability.
Magnetic Protection Function: In circumstances of short circuits, the breaker employs another critical function to safeguard the connected circuitry against potentially harmful short circuits. Such conditions may arise from the contact between phases or a phase-ground interaction. Short circuits result in an enormous surge of current through the cables, necessitating a swift interruption of system energy to ensure thermal protection mechanisms function optimally. In these instances, the breaker must execute an instantaneous opening to protect the connected load effectively. The mechanism responsible for this critical protective function is a mechanical opening mechanism that is activated by the magnetization effect generated by the magnetic field induced by the short circuit current, enabling rapid response and unmatched protection.
