Overview
The Dada DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker is engineered to support a rated current of up to 1600A. Ideal for safeguarding power distribution circuits with an alternating current of 50-60Hz and a rated operating current reaching up to 1000A, these breakers excel in providing infrequent motor starting, overload protection, as well as defense against short circuits and undervoltage scenarios.

Introduction
The DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker is designed to automatically interrupt the current when it surpasses the pre-set release threshold. The 'molded case' refers to its durable plastic insulator frame, which effectively isolates the conductor and metal grounding components.
Working principle
Operating the DAM3-1600 is straightforward, whether through manual manipulation or electric closing of the main contact. Once closed, the free release mechanism secures the main contact in the closed position. The device integrates an overcurrent trip coil and a thermal trip element in series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil pairs in parallel with the power supply.
