Working Principle
The operation of the DAM3-1600 Molded Case Circuit Breaker involves manual or electrical actuation to close the main contact. Once closed, the free release mechanism securely locks the main contact in position. The device integrates an overcurrent trip coil and a thermal trip element in series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel with the power supply, ensuring precise and reliable performance.
