These circuit breakers meet the stringent requirements of EN 60947-1 and EN 60947-2, ensuring compliance with the highest international standards.

Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breakers:

Thermal Protection Function: (Ensuring protection under overload conditions)
The thermal protection mechanism employs a bimetal strip, which is made up of two metals with differing thermal expansion coefficients. When subjected to heat, the bimetal bends towards the metal with the lower expansion rate. This bending action releases a notch that triggers the breaker mechanism, effectively disengaging the circuit. The bending speed directly correlates with the current magnitude passing through the breaker, as increased current generates more heat. This ensures that the breaker provides reliable over-current protection by activating the bimetal mechanism whenever the load current surpasses the rated threshold.
Magnetic Protection Function:(Ensuring protection under short circuit conditions) Another critical function of the breaker is tosafeguard the connected circuit against shortcircuits. Short circuits can occur whenphases come into contact with one another orwhen phase-ground contact is made. Due to theextremely high current that flows through the cables during a short circuit, the system's energymust be cut off swiftly to prevent damage.The breaker must perform an instant disconnection to safeguard the loadit is connected to. This critical function is made possible by a mechanical openingmechanism that is triggered by themagnetic field generated by the short circuit current.This mechanismoperates with precision,ensuring immediate and reliable protection for your circuitry.
