Thermal-Magnetic Circuit Breakers:

Thermal Protection Function: (Ensuring protection under overload conditions)
The thermal protection mechanism employs a bimetal strip, which is made up of two metals with differing thermal expansion coefficients. When subjected to heat, the bimetal bends towards the metal with the lower expansion rate. This bending action releases a notch that triggers the breaker mechanism, effectively disengaging the circuit.
