Perfectly suited for electrical units with an operational voltage limit of 400V and a rated current spectrum between 12.5 to 1600A, these circuit breakers steadfastly adhere to the stringent standards of EN 60947-1 and EN 60947-2.
Thermal Protection Function: The circuit breaker's bimetallic element offers superior thermal protection by bending towards the metal with a lower expansion rate when heated. This action releases a latch that disengages the breaker. The rate of bending is directly linked to the current flowing through the breaker, ensuring robust overcurrent protection for load currents exceeding the rated capacity.
Magnetic Protection Function: In addition to thermal protection, the breaker efficiently safeguards against short circuits by rapidly disengaging the circuit upon detection of a short circuit. The mechanical disengagement is triggered by the magnetization caused by the magnetic field generated from the short circuit current, ensuring immediate protection.
