Introduction
The DAM3-1600 molded case circuit breaker is designed to automatically halt the current flow when it exceeds the preset release point. The term 'molded case' refers to the durable plastic insulator frame, which provides excellent insulation for the internal conductors and metal grounding components, ensuring both safety and reliability.
Working principle
The primary contact of the DAM3-1600 MCCB can be operated manually or electrically. Once engaged, the free release mechanism locks it securely. The overcurrent trip coil and thermal trip element are integrated in series with the main circuit, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel to the power supply, delivering comprehensive protection and operational efficiency.
