The DAM3-250 MCCB is a state-of-the-art device that automatically disconnects the current when it exceeds the pre-set release threshold. The term 'molded case' highlights the durable plastic insulator that forms the frame, ensuring thorough insulation of the conductor and metal grounding components.
Working principle
The operation of the DAM3-250 MCCB begins with either manual manipulation or electric closing of the main contact. Once closed, the free release mechanism secures the main contact in place. Integrated into the main circuit, the overcurrent trip coil and thermal trip element work in series, while the undervoltage trip coil is connected in parallel with the power supply, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
